"Check-in and check-out were really quick"
I booked through accor.com and everything went smoothly. Check-in only took a few minutes, and check-out was even faster. You know how annoying it can be when you’re stuck waiting around or trying to figure out what to do, but there was none of that here, which I really appreciated

"I had to cancel my hotel booking…"
I had to cancel my hotel booking last minute after my plans changed, so I was ready for the usual back-and-forth. I did it through accor, and it was actually straightforward. Got the refund update by email, and the money was back on my card sooner than I expected. Nothing dramatic to report, which is kind of the point. It’s nice when a booking site just lets you sort things out without turning it into a whole thing.

"Parking was available, but not cheap"
There was parking, so that part was fine, but it ended up costing more than I expected. The payment setup also felt like it works when it wants, which was a little frustrating.

"Pretty reliable, even if it’s not perfect"
I’ve used Accor a handful of times to book hotels, it’s been smooth for the most part. My reservations have always been in the system when I got to the hotel, and the confirmation emails usually show up really quickly, which I appreciate. That said, I did have one time where the site felt a bit slow and annoying, but at the same time it wasn’t bad enough to make me stop using it. It’s not the most exciting booking experience, but it gets the job done. I’d probably complain about it a little and still use it again

"Honestly not sure how it was so quiet"
I’m kind of confused because I expected to hear at least some noise from outside, but I could barely hear anything. The room was really quiet, and I ended up sleeping surprisingly well

"Good stay with my dog, but maybe I should’ve checked more"
I booked through accor.com while traveling with my small dog, i was relieved to see that some of the hotels clearly listed themselves as pet-friendly. It made the whole planning part a lot less annoying than having to call every hotel myself, though I did wonder afterward if I trusted the listing a bit too quickly.
The only thing I’d say is to double-check the details for each hotel, because the pet rules aren’t always the same. Fees, size limits, and little conditions can vary, which I probably should’ve paid closer attention to from the start. Still, in the end it worked out fine for us and felt flexible overall.

so customer service did get back to me, but it took a few days and I had to follow up once. They sorted the issue in the end, just not as quickly as I was hoping.

I booked a hotel through Accor the pricing felt a lot more straightforward than what I’m used to on other travel sites. The taxes and fees were shown before I paid, so I wasn’t stuck with some random surprise charge at the end. Refreshing compared to the usual checkout experience.

"No Surprises on the Hotel Charge"
I booked a hotel through Accor, i was relieved the billing was exactly what I expected. I’m picky about checking card charges after booking travel, mostly because I’ve been burned by random fees before, but this one was clean.

The amount at checkout matched what showed up on my card, and the receipt came through right away with the taxes and details lined up. For me, that kind of straightforward billing makes a big difference, so I was happy with the experience.

"Really Good Accessible Room Setup"
I booked an accessible room, and the staff actually double-checked everything before I got settled in. The shower seat was already there, which was a big relief, a really big relief. It made the whole trip so much easier and a lot less stressful.

"and the location wasn’t as convenient as I expected"
the hotel itself was fine, but the location made things a bit more difficult than I’d hoped. There wasn’t much nearby, so I ended up taking taxis more often than expected. From the Accor listing, I thought getting around would be a lot easier.

"Breakfast was a bit of a letdown"
Stayed at an Accor hotel recently and the room was fine enough, nothing too exciting but no big issues there. The food was where it kinda fell apart though. Dinner felt pricey for what we got, flavours were flat, and the service was a bit slow too.

Breakfast wasn’t much better, honestly. The eggs were cold, the coffee was weak, and a few things had already run out early. For the price, I just expected it to be better

"Really well looked after hotel"
Stayed at an accor hotel last weekend it was in really good shape. The room was clean, the hallways looked fresh, and even the lifts seemed well maintained. Nothing had that worn-out or forgotten feel you sometimes get in hotels. I got the impression they probably have a attentive maintenance team, because you could tell little fixes weren’t being left for ages. Overall, just a really pleasant stay

"Website Feels Like a Clunky Dinosaur"
The website is frustrating to use too. It has that whole “ancient internet maze” vibe going on, where simple things take way more clicks than they should. Not the worst ever, but definitely clunky.

"Clean, Comfy, and Easy Stay"
The room was really clean when I got there, and the bed was super comfy. I slept great both nights, which is always a win. The bathroom was tidy too, and overall everything felt well taken care of. No complaints at all, I’d definitely stay here again.

Check-in was kind of messy. The staff barely checked IDs, and getting a room key felt way too easy. It wasn’t terrible or anything, but the whole security side of things just felt really relaxed in a way that made me a little uncomfortable.

"Good value if you travel often"
So... I mainly use Accor for the points and member rates. It’s not always the cheapest option out there, but the loyalty perks do start to feel worth it after a few stays. The app can be a little slow now and then, but overall I’ve found it good value for regular trips

"WiFi was manageable, but I had to escalate it"
I stayed for a few nights and the WiFi was okay during the day, but it got frustrating in the evenings. It slowed down a lot and I had to reconnect a couple of times, which got annoying fast. It was fine for basic emails and browsing, but definitely not reliable enough for video calls. I ended up bringing it up with the front desk and asked them to escalate it because it kept happening, but it didn’t really improve much during my stay.

"Good stay with the kids, tiny room Olympics included"
We booked through accor.com for a family weekend and overall it was a good stay. The hotel had a baby cot ready when we arrived, which was a nice surprise, and the staff were genuinely lovely with the kids. Breakfast was easy too, which with children basically feels like a luxury spa experience. The only downside was the room felt a bit tight for four people, so we got to enjoy some quality family bonding every time someone tried to walk past a suitcase.
